This weekend, streetwear stalwart BAPE Shirts will release a collection of graphic T-shirts commemorating the fashion capitals Hong Kong. New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. The New York Ape Head insignia will be featured on the left chest. While three different graphic options can be found on the back. Each range of tees will feature special graphics representing its respective city. Baby Milo climbs over the Empire State building in the first graphic, while Baby Milo climbs over the Statue of Liberty in the second graphic. A speech bubble reads “New York” on the Ape Head. In LA graphics, Baby Milo cruises past the city sign in his low rider.
READYMADE and BAPE Collide Collection
A new collaboration between READYMADE and BAPE follows the sold-out 2017 collaboration. Yuta Hosokawa’s take on the signature 1ST CAMO SHARK FULL-ZIP HOODIE and matching Sweat Shorts leads the collaborative collection. The set includes multicolor text using multiple fonts and a tiger character and animal elements on the shark hood, along with co-branded graphics.
Besides long-sleeve T-shirts marked with graffiti and short-sleeve T-shirts marked with an illustration of a shark flying in a DeLorean DMC-12, a 3-PACK TEE set completes the collection. In addition to BAPE’s signature camo pattern, the rear of the shirts include a small APE head motif accompanied by a bee badge based on READYMADE’s original T-shirt design. READYMADE retailers and BAPE STORE® locations will sell the 3-PACK TEE set, while A BATHING APE® authorized retailers and BAPE’s website will sell the other items.
BAPE X TOKYO Collabs
BAPE Hoodie preparing a graphic T-shirt collection celebrating the four aforementioned cities. A purple and white Ape Head insignia will be displayed on the left chest of each tee, while three different graphic options will be found on the back. Each tee will feature a special graphic representing each city. The first graphic shows an Ape Head fashioned as the Statue of Liberty, the second shows Baby Milo climbing over the city’s landmarks, including the Empire State Building, and the last graphic has an Ape Head holding a “New York” speech bubble. A low rider carries Baby Milo past LA’s signature city sign in Los Angeles graphics. Japan’s ABC CAMO print is reminiscent of the label’s lauded past, while Hong Kong features a large Baby Milo laying behind the skyline.
BAPE Eccentric Mix Camo Range
BAPE just unveiled its latest Mix Camo range, which is a preview of its upcoming collection with The Weeknd. Along with the label’s favorite Shark Face Hoodie, the eccentric range includes hoodies, crewneck Bape sweaters, T-shirts, sweatpants, and shorts. Each item in this range is patched together with variously colored camo. That’s what makes it special. Finished off with BAPE’s ubiquitous Ape Head and “A Bathing Ape” motif, each camo item comes in purple, blue, red, yellow, orange, and green hues.
The Weeknd’s BAPE Collaboration
There is a sneak peek at a collaboration between BAPE and Canadian rapper The Weeknd. XO and The Weeknd’s upcoming collaboration with BAPE features graphic-heavy hoodies, bomber jackets, tees, sweatpants, and shorts emblazoned with “A Bathing Ape” and “Till We Overdose” designs. In addition to the Ape Head rug featuring The Weeknd’s signature “XO” graphic, the collection ends with a soon-to-be sought-after rug. BAPEXCLUSIVETM Aoyama, Kyoto, BAPE STORE® DSM Ginza, as well as BapeSTA and The Weeknd’s will carry the BAPE X XO collection.
BAPE Readies Colorful Camo Basketball Collection
Featuring both basketball tops and shorts in BAPE’s signature camo, each piece comes in either black, blue, red, or purple colorways. The NBA season does not begin until October, but BAPE has just released a colorful camo basketball collection to get fans in the mood. On the shorts, the left side features the “93” motif and a BAPE Ape head tag along with white lining around the collar and sleeves.
BAPE 1ST CAMO Kimono Long Shirts
There is a new set of Kimono shirts from BAPE. The Kimono Long Shirts come in BAPE’s signature 1ST CAMO print and come in green and yellow. They also feature an embroidered “A Bathing Ape” motif on the collar. The waist strap is finished off with an Ape head tab to complete the look.
BAPE Snoopy Ginza Collection
During BAPE’s special 20th Anniversary Snoopy Ginza Collection, which honors Snoopy’s 20 years of presence in Japan’s Ginza district, a larger Snoopy-themed collection will be available at Ginza Mitsukoshi in Tokyo.
